Welcome to my website!  I started taking piano lessons at the age of six and organ lessons at fourteen from excellent teachers who taught me the joy of learning music.  I earned an advanced diploma for having completed classical piano and theory studies in the Sherwood Piano Course from Sherwood Music School in Chicago, Illinois.

 

I have played the piano and organ at restaurants and function halls for events such as wedding receptions, class reunions, and Christmas parties.  I have been the church organist and choir director for various denominations.

 

Teaching piano and organ lessons for more than fifty years has been a fulfilling and pleasurable experience.  I have enjoyed teaching students from five to eighty-five, from beginning to advanced level, to share with them the gratification of learning the language of music so that they can play songs for themselves and family members.
